Masitara no-show as conference flops

Yesterday, the media and members of the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) were left puzzled and standing about when the announced press conference called by Robert Masitara failed to materialise.

When his campaign team finally released the more than 15 journalists and other invitees, the Member of Parliament for Gaborone Bonnington North and BDP candidate, was nowhere to be seen.

Branch chairman, Benjamin Gopolang told the puzzled group that the press conference could not go on as scheduled since Maharaja Conference Centre management had told him that they (BDP) failed to book the venue.
