Destitute encouraged to use anti-poverty programmes

MATSHELAGABEDI: The social worker in Matshelagabedi, Kefilwe Ramojela has called on the destitute to take advantage of the poverty eradication programme to empower themselves.

She said that ever since the introduction of the programme, more destitute and the needy have been assisted with some of them running thriving businesses. Hence she encouraged the needy in the area to consider taking advantage of the programme. She was speaking during a donation of blankets and toiletry to the destitute from Breath of Life Ministries in the village.

"This is a good spirit. I thank God that this church was opened in this village, and I hope this is the beginning of our relationship with them. Winter season is approaching and the donation of blankets came at the right time," she said.
