These children need help from society

I am appalled at the rate at which the society watchdog “ the media” has turned into Satanist whistle blowers and I am wondering as to what benefit such stories are to the readers. Yes, the public has the right to know, especially where their lives are at risk, not just to any rumours making rounds.

The story dubbed “I will destroy TB Joshua” in The Monitor (May 5) is nothing but a joke. The young man seems more like an attention seeker than a threat.  He even stated that he is not a Satanist and has three members locally while most are in the USA, making one to wonder why he is viewed as a newsmaker.  Are we giving this acclaimed revolutionist a platform to be known? When he went to the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) to challenge the Man of God did he tell us? Why are we running with such baseless stories? He is claiming about his powers, what does it mean to us? Are our lives threatened or what? What evidence do we have that the young man is a threat to us, any records of his evil deeds?

While the headline is so bold I was shocked to get just a line concerning the young man’s visit to the SCOAN. He claims he has powers greater than Prophet TB Joshua, so why did he go to him to exorcise demons from him? Can the strong go to the weak? Some of us go to SCOAN for we believe that there is God who can deliver us from our problems, so what did the revolutionist want from the Man of God? He wanted to be delivered from what? If he is content with his so-called religion why travel miles away and come back without making a grand entry at the SCOAN.
