RAMOTSWA: Premier League debutants, Letlapeng FC are planning to recruit players with experience in the top-flight to sharpen their competitive edge. The club chairperson, Sydney Magagane said at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Mokgosi Primary School yesterday that they are not in the league to add numbers but to compete.

He stressed the need to get players with experience if they are to do well in the league. He said a team need more than money to survive in the competition. Magagane presented the financial report for the past three years which indicated that costs have been escalating. The report shows that during the 2010-2011 season, the club spent P68, 000. The amount increased to P81, 000 and P147,000 in the last two seasons. Magagane said they received P12,500 in grants from Botswana Football Association (BFA) every four months.
