Rollers to consult on CAF participation

Township Rollers will seek advice from both the Botswana Football Association (BFA) and the Botswana Premier League (BPL) over participation in the CAF Champions League.


One of Rollers’ directors, Jagdish Shah told journalists yesterday that they are yet to decide whether to take part in the continent’s premier club competition.  “We will seek advice from the media, BFA and Premier League on how to go about this. As you know, the competition has both positive and negative aspects. It is good for the development of our football but again there is the aspect of finance associated with taking part in this competition,” Shah said. He said they still have time to consult and make an informed decision.
