The Reds Chase Former Under 23 stars

While the 2009-2010 be MOBILE Premier League is over, Gaborone United (GU) officials will not be resting as expected. The officials are said to be in discussions with a number of players who they want to beef up their squad for the upcoming season.

Sport Monitor can reveal that GU are interested in the services of Township Rollers' hard working midfielder Amos 'Shoes' Godirwang, striker Moemedi 'Jomo' Moatlhaping of Mochudi Centre Chiefs and former Bay United duo of Pontsho Moloi and goalkeeper Noah Maposa. GU coach David Bright is said to be a great admirer of the three players with the exception of Moloi and he has made it clear to the management that he wants them next season.

"He (Bright) thinks that Pontsho is a difficult boy having coached him at Bay United during the past season. But the management is keen on having him here because they think he can add value to the club. They (management) think he can attract long lost GU supporters like he did at (Centre) Chiefs," said an inside source.
