FRANCISTOWN: The secretary general of the Botswana Democratic Party, Thato Kwerepe, accompanied by the party executive secretary, Comma Serema, is touring the country to assure Batswana that, although there is instability in the BDP, caused by indiscipline, "the party remains solid".

Part of the agenda for this tour is to inform democrats that Wynter Mmolotsi has been expelled from the BDP and is no longer their representative. Kwerepe said this when addressing a press conference at Marang Hotel in Francistown on May 28.
