Flames beat Splinters in F/town derby

FRANCISTOWN: Splinters gave everything they had but failed to click when it matters most to lose 46-64 to a spirited Flames in a Francistown basketball league derby.

The victory kept a confident Flames in the race to finish in the top four when the unsponsored Botswana Basketball Association (BBA) League.

Before a capacity crowd at the Donga Barracks in Francistown on Saturday morning, Flames emerged the winner in the last minute in a game that could have gone either way.
