G/West crime on the decline

Following the closure of a popular nightclub in the area, police in Gaborone West say they have noted a decline in crimes such as housebreak-in and theft, burglary, store break-ins and robberies.

Superintendent Agreement Mapeu said in an interview that the rate of these types of crime has gone down in recent times.

“Although these crimes still occur, they are not as frequent as they used to be,” he said.
