It is common cause for more than two people to be allocated the same residential plot, some new plots extend into other people’s homes, new plots have extended onto roads and pathways and the land is auctioned to the moneyed. This is the story of Tsolamosese and its land troubles with the Mogoditshane Landboard.

Speaking at a Kgotla meeting in Tsolamosese recently the residents who reside in Block 4 told their MP Patrick Masimolole that they were troubled by the way the sub landboard illtreats them. They pointed out that to date, they still have unresolved issues with the sub landboard.

They accuse the sub landboard officials of stealing people’s plots and selling them to people with bigger wallets.
