Highlanders surge ahead in promotion play-offs

MAHALAPYE: BR Highlanders are on the front foot in the promotion play-offs after a 2-1 win over fellow First Division side, Rolling Boys in the first leg in Mahalapye on Saturday.

Highlanders took the lead in the 47th minute when Otlaarongwa Nthumolang broke the stalemate with a stunning strike from outside the box.

Boys equalised in the 60th minute through a deflected effort from Mogomotsi Kebaitse.
