A desperate guild on meeting Mr Right

The Back Up Plan
Jennifer Lopez stars as Zoe in the movie The Back Up Plan as a vivacious woman who has everything she could possibly want the perfect job, the perfect home, and now she is looking for the perfect man but unfortunately she struggles to find the illusive perfect guy, so she resorts to her Back up Plan.

From the onset of the movie Zoe is propped up on a gynecological table ready to be inseminated by Dr. Scott Harris (Robert Klien), and instead of focusing on the task at hand by relaxing she drifts off, remembering the advice her friends had given her.
First she imagines her friend's home, which is filled with chaos with her children running around screaming and crying, aand that is just about the perfect advertisement for not having any children. Her friend Mona (Michaela Watkins) tells her with desperation not to have children, saying that her (Mona) children are practically driving her insane and as they move towards the passage way in the house one of her children runs past her with a chicken on his head that Mona had been preparing for dinner. Yeah, at that moment Zoe snaps out of her recollections then drifts off into space, and remembers the day her employee refused to be her sperm donor, which forced her to resort to her back up plan; being inseminated. After the insemination Zoe leaves the doctor's office beaming with happiness at the thought of having a child and she hails a Cab driver, hops in the cab and to her surprise she sees an annoying person in the cab with her, Stan (Alex O'Loughlin). They argue about who should leave with the cab, until Zoe takes a deep breath to calm herself and decides to leave the cab, not wanting Stan to spoil her perfect day. She instead opts to take the subway to work much to Stan's surprise. From this moment the movie develops in such a way that Stan and Zoe are destined to be together.  The movie gets more interesting when after her first date with Stan she gets home to find her pregnancy test positive and then she goes to Dr. Harris with her friend Mona to find out if she is in fact pregnant. Dr. Harris then gives her the good news that she is pregnant not with one child but two, she is going to have twins. Then she goes on a second date with Stan and after they get to know each other intimately, Zoe decides to tell Stan that she is pregnant and this nearly throws the relationship into disarray. However, unlike most men who would run way, Stan decides to stay because he loves her to bits.

The movie is practically a guild on how to scare a boyfriend away in my view the script needed serious overhauling, please Kate Angelo the next creation you give birth to keep some semblance of reality in the script. Despite this, the movie has some funny moments like Zoe's dog, Nuts, a cute little dog in a wheel chair apparatus, that was the funniest part in the film, it made my ribs ache with laughter until I realised that man, being a dog in a wheelchair must be horrible, for instance how do you scratch yourself on that thing at least a three-legged dog can sit and scratch one side of its body but poor Nuts cannot even do that. The worst part of the movie is the ending.

Congratulations Anicia Gaothuse!

The contest had 10 beautiful young girls as finalists and unfortunately only one could wear the crown. The judges picked Anicia Gaothuse. To all those who feel their contestant should have won ahead of Anicia for whatever reason, hardly; the judges found Anicia to be the best among the best, so desist from disrespecting our newly crowned queen on social media or anywhere else, for that matter! Each of the 10 beautiful young women had supporters...
