LUSAKA: The 2014 April International Theatre Festival (AITF) ended on Sunday night on a delighted note at Zambia’s Lusaka Playhouse with Ghetto Waves Productions stealing the limelight with their Stronger Women.

The local thespians forced spectators, who included other theatre performers from Malawi, Zimbabwe and Zambia, to be on the edge of their seats throughout their performance thanks to their exhilarating presentation.

The play reflects on the challenges that women face when searching for love.  Stronger Women’s thematic framework explores various topics with intensity and ultimately presents women themselves as the panacea for all abuse they are subjected to.
