Botswana Premier League (BPL) chief executive officer, Bennett Mamelodi, has said there is still a lot to be done though the season finished on time. “It was a bit of a roller- coaster. We had lots of challenges but with the cooperation from the relevant stakeholders, we managed to pull through. There is still more to be done,” Mamelodi told Mmegi Sport yesterday.

“All in all, we managed to pull through although there is still room for improvement. We hardly had games postponed this season and we tried to fixture the matches at the same time,” he stated. He said their target of finishing the season by the end of April was achieved despite the challenges.

He cited the BMC case as one of the challenges that could have delayed the league.
