Montsho Wins Top Sports Award

As expected, 400 metres star, Amantle Montsho won the sportsperson of the year title at the Botswana National Sports awards ceremony on Saturday.

Earlier, the former world champion had beaten Boikhutso Mudongo of chess and karate’s Thato Malunga to the sportswoman of the year award.

Montsho is a winner of the Diamond League and is a silver medalist at the IAAF track and field championships. She is ranked number one in 400m in the world.
