Cricket authorities are worried about low turn-out at matches.

Botswana Cricket Association (BCA) chief executive officer, Girish Ramakrishna has pleaded with the public to support the sport. He wants cricket to receive the same support like other sport. Ramakrishna bemoaned the low spectator turnout at cricket matches. “This is a social issue that needs to be addressed. Ramakrishna stated that BCA is trying by all means to introduce cricket nationwide, especially in schools by imparting knowledge to teachers and students.
