Despite the precarious situation they find themselves in, Miscellaneous still believe they can stage a Houdini act and survive relegation. Miscellaneous lie in position 14 with 27 points after their loss to BDF XI last weekend and face a tough run-in with matches against title chasing sides.

They take on Mochudi Centre Chiefs tomorrow at Itekeng Stadium in Orapa before they complete their season against Gaborone United (GU) and Township Rollers. Chairperson, Oscar Sefako is optimistic that with good preparations, they can collect points against the giants like before.

“We knew this situation was coming. If you remember well, we have been playing our home games outside Serowe and this has affected us a lot,” he said. Sefako said playing home games away and lack of sponsors have played a major role in their predicament. He said they have not been able to retain some of their best players or find good replacements because of their financial situation. “Most of our supporters here are also not working and therefore cannot assist that much. But if we were competing on home-ground, I believe we would not be where we are right now,” he said.
