Mob aids police nab suspected armed robbers

Mochudi police arrested three of the four men allegedly involved in a Pilane armed robbery over the weekend, after members of the public pelted the getaway vehicle with stones forcing the driver to take off without his accomplices.

The four men allegedly hit Asia Multi Trading Butchery on Saturday evening, stealing P7,000 in cash as well as cigarette cartons.  They had a white Toyota Corolla as their getaway car with the driver on standby.

The suspected robbers were spotted by members of the public as they exited the butchery and were immediately swamped, police reveal.
