State withdraws murder charge against mother

The state has dropped murder charges against a 29 year-old Francistown mother accused of killing her newborn baby, citing lack of evidence.

Sithembinkosi Madziba is alleged to have dumped her baby after giving birth secretly in 2010. She will now face the lesser charge of birth concealment.
