Kokorwe releases African Democrat

The documentary film titled The African Democrat, which is produced by local filmmaker Billy Kokorwe of BKDS films has received a major boost from former South African President and Nobel Peace Prize Larueate FW Deklerk and former President of Botswana Festus Mogae.

In an interview with Billy Kokorwe at the FW De Klerk foundation, the charismatic leader who together with Nelson Mandela won the Nobel Peace Prize attributed Botswana's economic success story to Masire's pragmatic leadership.

 The no-holds-barred and frank interview reveals the witty, dynamic, brave, skillful negotiator in Sir Ketumile Masire from an international perspective, taking the viewer into a world to which few have had access and most could hardly imagine.
