He said things are looking good for popular and non-conventional sports and athletes have shown in various competitions that they are well drilled. He said karate, boxing, tennis, athletics, table tennis, netball, judo, swimming and volleyball have done exceptionally well at regional competitions in South Africa, Zambia and Cameroon. Part of the athletics team is on camp at Goodhope Senior Secondary School to allow students to train after classes as a way of ensuring synergy in academic and sports performances.
