Exactly a day after Gaborone United confirmed the sacking of David Bright, he jetted out to Cape Town for talks with his former club Santos.

Bright left the country on Friday morning to watch the club beat Roses United 4-1 in a National First Division clash at Athlone Stadium on Friday night. It is said Bright’s main assignment should he take over is to coach the team back to the ABSA Premier League. Santos are currently coached by former SuperSport United striker, David Notoane.

They are presently out of contention for the title as they lie in seventh place with 36 points, 12 behind log leaders Chippa United, with five games before the curtain comes down on the NFD.
