Rude reception for new rugby sides

New comers, Ghanzi Hungry Lions and Thebephatshwa Desert Whales face defending champions, EMG Gunners and Botswana Defence Force (BDF) Cheetahs respectively tomorrow, looking for their first wins after disappointing outings last weekend. Lions suffered a 19-3 loss to Cheetahs whilst Whales were drubbed 42-0 by Gunners.

Whales and Lions find themselves occupying the bottom two places while Cheetahs, the 2006 champions and Gunners are in the top four.

The two debutants play tough sides which might dent their chances of making the top four.
