Former TAFIC manager, Leviet Ntwaagae has entered the race to unseat Botswana Football Association (BFA) vice president (technical), Boyce Sebetela.

Ntwaagae has accused Sebetela of being ineffective and wants him replaced when the BFA holds its elective annual assembly in July. “My feeling is that Sebetela has not performed. The best for football is for the right person to take over. I urge those who have interest to come forward and contest,” Ntwaagae said.

He said the position is key to the BFA’s success and that at the moment football has stagnated due to the incumbent. “The secretariat is not empowered enough to drive the football mandate. We don’t have a strategy to drive football, which means we cannot do business. Where do you get direction?” Ntwaagae said.
