Minister drums up support for Dikakapa

In a week that saw local hopefuls Dikakapa trail behind in the race to finish in the top four in the Kora Awards voting, Youth Sport and Culture Minister, Shaw Kgathi, has drummed up support for the Botswana music ambassadors, as voting for the coveted US$1 million first prize gets intense across Africa.

However the Botswana  group are in danger of missing out  of the top 4, according to the latest  updates in the Kora website, which shows that the Botswana group has not made it in the current top five which is currently  led by  Paul G of Angola, with  442358 points.

Alioune Nder of Senegal, follows Paul G in second place with  288194 points, while Zimbabwean  musician, Jusa, ranks third with 100105 points.
