The traditional dance group impressed with the hosanna style that sent the audience at Masunga Community Hall into a frenzy.

The dancers had the audience eating from their hands as the crowd responded to their every move with screams, ululations and applause.

As the first group on stage, Nyabidzogha set a very high standard, which opponents failed to match and it was no surprise when it won the contest.  Libilidza from Mapoka and Itsoseng from Masukwane settled for position two and three respectively.

In traditional instruments, Tapiwa Thobane of Masunga scooped first prize in moropa while Boipuso Tshepiso was the best in segaba.

Olatotswe Salu of Gulubane was the best guitarist while Cultural Express and Madi-a-Manong were best in drama and dikhwaere respectively.

In poetry, Kwanele July of Zwenshambe was too good for his opponents and easily cruised to victory.  The leopard skin clad youngster played with words much to the delight of the crowd.  Speaking at the competition, Mambo councillor Dikitso Mandevu applauded the artists for their efforts.

He encouraged them to preserve their culture and be free to express themselves with it. The competitions were held under the theme 'Monana Yoo O Tlhaga O Tsosa Ngwao'.
