Engineer charged with threat-to-kill

FRANCISTOWN: A 38 year-old Mupane Gold Mine survey engineer appeared in court yesterday for threat-to-kill and malicious damage to property.

The state alleges that Titose Thipe threatened to kill Tlhabologo Elias and Tebogo Maphorisa on March 23 at Gerald Estates. He allegedly said “ke tsile go le bolaya (I am going to kill you)”, to Elias and Maphorisa.

In the second charge, Thipe is alleged to have smashed the windows of a house belonging to Elias using an axe at Gerald Estates on March 23.
