The Botswana Africa Youth Games Organising Committee (BAYGOC) chief executive officer, Tuelo Serufho has dismissed reports of mass resignations from the secretariat.

He said only three out of more than 40 members have left the secretariat. He told a BAYGOC press briefing in Gaborone yesterday that the main reason why people leave is job security as the committee is temporary and will be disbanded once the games are over.

He said the three who left were unemployed at the time they got jobs at BAYGOC. The latest to leave was marketing and communications officer, Thato Utlwang who exited on Friday.
