Hip hop music in Botswana is growing in leaps and bounds thanks to a new generation of artists.The new age hip hop and rap enthusiasts find purpose in giving the old American hip hop and rap culture an African signature fusing into a unique sound.

Few will like to admit it, but it was pioneers Third Mind who laid the foundation of this dream for those who would later follow in their footsteps.

It is also worth mentioning that the success of South Africa’s HHP with a strong connection to Botswana that also played a role in luring more and more budding rappers to follow the trend.
