We must challenge the “African time” rubbish
Most of us are aware that many Africans cannot keep time. We are known to say, “There is no hurry in Africa” #TIA (This is Africa). However, we might be playing at a losing game and exhibiting incompetence, poor planning, disrespect and arrogance, by holding onto the tired concept of “African time”....

Are successful/ independent women really cheeky and rude?
A few weeks ago I was listening to Yarona FM breakfast show and the presenters asked their listeners whether successful/independent women are cheeky and rude as often perceived (a ba makgakga). A lot of men commented and most of them responded in the affirmative. Is it true or its just plain ol’ hat...

Should we have a rate card for the arts?
I think so. It would help categorise certain arts, bring other types to the fore and enable growth and development. Perhaps this lack of guidelines is a contributory factor to the inability for artists to grow and sustain themselves. Artists would take themselves seriously and be taken seriously.

Miss Botswana Fashion Show lacked elegance
Fact. Hosting an event is talent and skill, you do not give the mic to the next loud-mouth bobble head cutie! I am livid. The Miss Botswana Fashion Show was good but it lacked the elegant, suave nature that a fashion show should have. It was organised somewhat well enough for a mediocre show.
