It was entertainment time at Naledi Secondary School last Friday afternoon, as the students listened to Dithuso Selepeng, also known as 'DT', delivering a motivational pep talk. DT was paying homage to his former school and informing the students about the importance of education. DT, whose music genre is of Afro Caribbean, with a strong influence of reggae and hip-hop, explained that the students were on an endless journey in life and they needed to know what they were going to do with it.'Journey' is a track on his solo album 'Poor'n'Rich In Soul.'Literacy Needed For Union Leaders

At last spring is definitely here! I guess in addition to ushering in spring, September has a lot in store for us. What with celebrating 40 years of wonderful moments of independence, and probably some not-so-good moments as age has crept in. Most of us have surely watched with despair as our girths widened and our health took a turn. Not for the good unfortunately. Seemingly, visits to the gym or regular strolls have been replaced by visits to the doctor and pharmacist. We look back and say, as we if we have been helpless spectators all along, but what happened to my health and wellbeing?
