A guitar and Tswana folk legend
Sheleng Ositilwe was born in Serowe but grew up in Mahalapye. He remains one of Botswana's greatest folk singers and praise poet of our time.

Almost fell into a huge abyss
"A Good Woman" (2005) had its theatrical release in February 2006, and has been available on DVD since June 13, 2006. Oscar Wilde (1854-1900), an Irishman, remains one of the wittiest writers in the English language. His masterpiece, "Lady Windermere's Fan" (1893), stands up there in the galaxies along with "The Importance of Being Earnest" (1899). Both have been labelled "society comedies". His other plays in this genre were "A Woman of No Importance" (1893) and "An Ideal Husband" (1895). In 1895 he went to jail for two years for sodomy and on his release fled, a ruined man, to live in France. His "Ballad of Reading Jail" (1898) on prison conditions was his last publication before he died.
