Softball debacle report out
The eagerly-awaited report of the commission that probed the Maseru softball debacle will be released today. Botswana Softball Association (BSA) president, Marumo Morule told Mmegi Sport that with the release of the findings, they will now hold their Annual General Meeting (AGM) this Saturday as scheduled.

Red Sparks shock Comets
Relegation-threatened Red Sparks shocked fancied Jwaneng Comets 1-0 in a dull Med Rescue South League match at the Naughty Boys' Grounds on Sunday. Though second in the league, former Premiership side Comets were reduced to beginners by Red Sparks. The game started slowly without any of the two teams showing urgency. Comets failed to punish the porous Sparks defence as they created and missed several scoring opportunities in the first half. The tempo of the game increased in the dying minutes of the first half but the teams went on recess locked 0-0.

Fun time at Orapa Engen golf event
Nico Koster of Phakalane Golf Club and Robert Mpabanga of Gaborone Club are the champions of the Engen Golf competition. Koster posted a 150 gross score to win the A division by a 20 point margin while Mpabanga is the champion of the B division.

Perez resigns as Madrid president
Florentino Perez has resigned as president of Real Madrid. The 58-year-old will be replaced with immediate effect by former club vice-president Fernando Martin.
