Comets coach defend decision
Jwaneng Comets coach, Kingsley Makgolela has defended his decision to substitute key midfielder Bobo Motlhalane during their crucial MedRescue First Division South game against Santos at the Galaxy Stadium on Sunday.

ECCO tell coach to stay home
FRANCISTOWN: Mascom Premier League side ECCO City Greens have told coach Johanne Tshuma to stay home for a while after players boycotted training. ECCO spokesman Nelson Legwatagwata said they have taken the decision to temporarily 'lay-off' Tshuma until investigations of the player-boycott are over.

Early World Cup exit for Sabure
Botswana icon and Woman Grand Master (WGM) Tuduetso Sabure is out of the World Women Chess Championship in Russia. The African women champion crashed out of the competition after losing 2-0 to India's Grand Master (GM) Koneru Humpy in the first round. The Indian is the second highest rated player at the tourney while Sabure is ranked second last in the 64-player field.
