Who said what about the CKGR matter? "Currently, Survival International demands that we should return the Basarwa back into the Game Reserve unconditionally and that should there be any mining in the park in future, they will represent the residents of the Park in negotiations with mining companies, if we do not agree they say they will intensify their malicious campaign to destroy our diamond industry and De Beers are scared stiff and want us to capitulate. Causes of CKGR deaths can be explained -government
In its statement to the media issued on 16 March 2006, the First People of the Kalahari (FPK) allege that there are unexplained deaths in New Xade. Government says it can be confirmed that there were thirteen (13) deaths in New Xade between 1 January and 20 March 2006 - a three-month period. In the statement, the government says whilst such deaths are regretted, their causes cannot be attributed to an unexplained epidemic. An open letter to MP Gordon Mokgwathi

Please allow me space in your newspaper to air my views on the latest proposed national assembly salaries and allowances amendment bill. It is very unfortunate for us as Batswana to have leaders who only put their interests before that of ordinary citizens and very regrettable to have leaders who are not tolerant and compassionate.
