Did BCA cheat South African cricket star?
At first it looked like a glamorous event. It started with a press invitation as the Botswana Cricket Association (BCA) asked for media coverage. The arrival of a famous black South African cricket super star, Makhaya Ntini to inspire and motivate the aspiring cricketers in Botswana, had all the ingredients of a big event.

Player exodus at Rollers?
A player exodus is likely to hit Township Rollers after the club ends its Mascom Premier League assignments this weekend. The dethroned champions complete their season with tricky away games against TASC and relegated Mosquito at the Francistown Stadium tomorrow and Sunday respectively.

BSA pleads with stakeholders
The Botswana Softball Association (BSA) has pleaded with players and well-wishers to be patient as they are still negotiating with a potential sponsor for the men's tournament. BSA has only managed to secure a sponsor for the women's competition. There have been complaints that the men's tournament is taking too long to start.

Fighters fired up for play-offs
Mogoditshane Fighters have promised to leave no stone unturned in the Premier League play-offs scheduled for Selebi-Phikwe Stadium this weekend. Fighters surprisingly got relegated from the Mascom Premier League after finishing 14th. However, the position offers them the opportunity to take part in the two-day promotional play-offs against First Division runners-up Jwaneng Comets and Stone Breakers. The winner gets a place in the Premier League next season.
