For restaurants and pubs with giant television screens, the month of June and July 2006 will be remembered as the most profitable. They say wintertime usually results in few people braving the cold nights for drinks and dancing, but not when it is World Cup time. Hotels like the Cresta group have not only placed adverts inviting the public to come and watch the World Cup, but are providing snacks.
