Citizen contractors must overhaul their act
Yesterday we commended Palapye MP Boyce Sebetela, for his motion that calls for the support of citizen economic empowerment through fair tender awards. We even went as far as urging other MPs to support the motion. In yet another parliamentary session yesterday the Assistant Minister of Local Government, Ambrose Masalila introduced an important element to the debate. Masalila called for the formulation of government policy to protect small local sub-contractors from being cheated by bigger companies.
