Bhamjee experiences dirty tricks
Football is known to be a sport, which unites people across the globe - irrespective of colour and creed. But the politics which go with it especially when seeking a post in certain organisations, can be dirty. The controversy, which surrounded the Kenyan and Nigerian Football Associations’ general assembly in recent times, shows how difficult and frustrating the elections can be. This forced the world governing body - FIFA - to intervene for the elections to run smoothly.
