Diarrhoea Deaths, Infections Rise
The Minister of Health, Professor Sheila Tlou announced in Parliament on Friday that 177 children have died from the diarrhoea outbreak since the beginning of the year. She said that there has been an increase in the last three weeks in the number of infections and the affected areas.

Construction Nightmare
The construction of a fly-over bridge at the Taung railway crossing in Gaborone near the airport roundabout has caused traffic problems in the city. The Broadhurst link road from the airport circle was blocked a week ago from both sides at the start of the construction. But public service vehicles drivers and owners, commuters and transporters now complain that the move was taken without proper planning. They say it has now become a nightmare trying to get out or access Gaborone from the airport circle after the closure of the road especially during peak hours.
