QUESTION TIME Affirming the need for Technical Training
I spent much of last week re-affirming the value and importance of technical training, alongside education, to our national social, physical and economic development. I did this, happily, at the invitation of BOTA, the Botswana Training Authority. Why was Rev Matsheng's silver jubilee low key?
Saturday, November 25, was a memorable day at Gaborone's Christ The King Cathedral, which was celebrating Reverend Joseph Matsheng's 25th year of dedicated service in the Lord's vineyard. I am one of the many young people who grew up within the Cathedral parish and personally experienced Moruti's excellent performance in music, liturgy and catechism. I have now moved to one of the satellite missions where nothing had been announced about jubilee celebration at the Cathedral. Nothing will ever worry BNF
If members of the Botswana National Front (BNF) are not worried with the conduct of their leader, nothing will ever worry them. Ever since the "curse" of his London trip, Moupo has never stopped making headlines, all for embarrassing and irritating reasons (at least to me and Merafhe - Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation).NITTY GRITTY
Male prostitution
Everyone has their calling. And when that horn sounds, it reverberates in the inner recesses of the soul. You can't ignore it. Two people at the Nitty Gritty have responded to the call: Walkie has decided to answer to the call of celibacy and will not share her body with any human being, dead or alive. Especially not with the former. Mr Kool has also responded to a call of sorts. He has monogamously decided that monogamy is the relationship of the future, and his future is the present.
