Kerrison to perform at Nelson Mandela Square
Botswana's famous classical singer Angela Kerrison is scheduled to perform Handel's Messiah's oratorio at Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton. The event was a success last year as it raised R14,000 for charity and organisers are hopeful of a repeat performance. When the Symphony Choir of Johannesburg and the Johannesburg Festival Orchestra perform the concert on Easter Sunday, soprano Kerrison will be the centre of attraction with her magical voice.

Ubom set Maitisong alive
They came from the Eastern cape, and mesmerised Gaborone with their vibrant poetry. Ubom's poetry presentation in their 2006 performance, mind, junk, magic is unique as it blends poetry with aspects of theatre, music and dance.

SELEBI-PHIKWE: Rough Cuts Salon, a trendy hair making company held a beauty contest dubbed, 'Miss Rough Cuts' over the weekend. Refilwe Dibeela, was crowned the queen, followed by Kefilwe Seithoolo and Bame Orutilwe, both form five students at Selebi-Phikwe Secondary School.

Suge Knight could lose Death Row
