Kelebeile powers into second round
Kagiso Kelebeile on Monday powered into the second round of the ITF Futures tournament after disposing of South African Mike Power 7-6, 6-2 in a match that lasted only one hour. The 20 year-old Kelebeile was the hero of the day for hosts Botswana, as the only other Batswana to contest in the first round singles, Ernest Seleke, crashed out of the show 6-1, 6-1 to Romanian Robert Hodel yesterday. SELEBI-PHIKWE: Volleyball fans were treated to a lacklustre game over the weekend as Spartans, a Selebi-Phikwe based volleyball club was walloped three nil by Diphatsa (women) Volleyball Club from Francistown.
The two teams, who beat most of their opponents in the first round of the league disappointed both the fans and their coaches in this match.
