The hero amongst us
Congratulations to Roy Sesana on winning the Right Livelihood Award, also known as the Alternative Nobel Prize. Roy and First People of the Kalahari were picked because of “resolute resistance against eviction from their ancestral land and for upholding the right to their traditional way of life”.

The UN degenerates
Over 170 heads of state and government representing the entire human race met at United Nations (UN) headquarters for three days from 14-16 September 2005. It was a historic first. World public opinion expected the summit to discuss and give impetus to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), a programme adopted in 2000 by the UN to make poverty history. Contrary to expectations, the leaders squabbled about the definition of “terrorism” and watered down the MDGs programme. One can only define the calibre of the world leadership at this stage, in one Word: degenerative!

Beware of Masitara’s promises
As somebody once said, “I am just nobody trying to tell everybody about somebody who can save Gaborone West North people.” My appeal to the voters of this constituency is that Otsweletse Moupo does not have gold, silver or yoghurt. Instead, he has ideas which can help improve the lot of the Gaborone West North people. Moupo does not go around making outrageous and crazy promises, which even billionaire politicians in America do not make.

Give Masitara a chance
A lot has been said and I am fully convinced that the Gaborone West North residents should now know that to enjoy better welfare, Robert Masitara is the man to help attain this. Masitara promises us that we are going to see miracles. Who would doubt such a statement from a man of Masitara’s calibre?
