ECCO get new coach FRANCISTOWN: Premier League side, ECCO City Green have hired a new coach. Johane Tshuma of Zimbabwe has been roped in by the Mighty Greens to replace compatriot Stanley Mwaanga who left midway through the second round last season. The new coach has promised to take ECCO to new heights after a ninth finish in their maiden appearance in the Premier League last season. Tshuma told Mmegi Sport that coaching needs a good motivator, determination, tolerance and an understanding of all the players.No new faces in Greatest Race marathon
The Botswana Athletics Association (BAA) has announced the team for this year’s Standard Chartered Bank Greatest Race on Earth marathon. There are no new faces in the team that took part in the multi-national event last year. However, the four runners have swapped places in a bid to improve on their not-so-impressive record last year. SELEBI PHIKWE: FC Satmos have managed to survive the loss of its only sponsor, Sam Sono and soldiered on to remain in the Premier League. Though still in need of a sponsor, the club has shown little signs of distress. Satmos is currently working on other strategies to remain a soccer force in Selebi-Phikwe and the country.
