Extra-Melody, a popular Rhumba group will launch their third album “Black Mampatile”, on Sunday, at Chez Ntemba. The band leader Biza Mupulu told Showbiz that their album will be released on the day of the launch, adding that the new album is their best work yet. The album which has eight tracks, features eight songs which includes the title track Black Mampatile, Ma Africa and Thuso, song composed as an effort to educate people on the HIV/AIDS pandemic. Other songs in the album include Linda, Tautona, Lefufa, Obabone, and a remix of Black Mampatile.

Mupulu said the launch will feature popular local rhumba artistes like, Frank “Franco” Lesokwane, Jeff Matheatau, Alfred “Alfredo” Mosimane-gape and the Zebra Rhumba Stars.

Performances will not be restricted to rhumba artistes, as the popular Odirile “Vee” Sento will also perform. Other groups expected to perform at the event include Eskimos, Exodus, Wizards of the Desert, Mokorwane, now known as Dithakga, Machesa, Rockers and West Park.

Mupulu said the show is scheduled to start around noon, so that young children can also enjoy it during the day, adding that they will have a variety of games for children, so that parents can bring their children and enjoy the day show.
