TAFIC hires new coach
FRANCISTOWN: Relegated TAFIC has signed a two year contract with a Zimbabwean coach Godfrey Tamirepi. He succeeds Ernest Kupe who failed to keep the team in the Premier League. Tamirepi played for TAFIC in 1994 but left to go back home and help his club Zisco to avoid relegation. “That year, my team wanted my services because I was their experienced midfielder,” he says. He says he played only for half season at TAFIC.

Satmos ride Bamangwato Coach
SELEBI-PHIKWE: Bamangwato Coach Tours has become the latest entrant in the blossoming love affair between soccer and the public transport industry. After protracted negotiations that began towards the end of last season, the bus company has agreed to finance Selebi-Phikwe Premier League side, FC Satmos. The two sides concluded a sponsorship deal on Tuesday.

Notwane deny thwarting Tshelametsi’s dreams
