IFSC Short-listed For Continental Investor Award
The Botswana International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) has been short listed for the 2005 Africa Investor Awards scheduled for Johannesburg on November 21. This year’s awards have about 15 categories. The IFSC has been short-listed in the small regulation category alongside UNCTAD - Blue Books, Commission for Africa - Investment Climate Facility and the Central Bank of Nigeria.

Massive Expansion Of Investment Industry
The investment industry in Botswana is rapidly expanding with the growth and value of equity and capital markets increasing more than 400 fold. Debswana Pension Fund Principal Officer, Boitumelo Molefe said last week that this creates opportunities for new companies to contribute to the development of the national economy.

A Football Coach
Some describe it as a thankless job. If you win, it is often the players that get all the glory and if the team loses, it is the coach who is to blame. Football coaching can be a tricky career. Job security here comes down to results and silverware or the whims of club managers.
