The national soccer team has started issuing membership cards to supporters. The chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zebras Supporters Trust (ZST), Joe Matome said they started issuing the cards on Monday. Matome, the group secretary of Debswana said the cards are available at the Botswana Football Asssociation (BFA) offices at the Lekidi Football Centre. One Zebracard costs P220 per year. The Botswana Amateur Boxing Association (BABA) vice president, Tsietsi Kebualemang found himself in trouble on Saturday when he was left alone to face irate members still bitter about the controversial exclusion of boxer Khumiso Ikgopoleng from the Commonwealth squad. Kebualemang was put on the spot after entire BABA executive committee and technical commission skipped the Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Yarona Lodge, Mogoditshane on Saturday. SELEBI-PHIKWE: The BCL has said that Mascom Premier League side Nico United will remain a community team despite sponsorship from the mining company. BCL’s Marketing and Communications Manager, Gerry Ndlovu said last Friday that the sponsorship is not meant to make the team part of BCL.
