Puma Sports Distribution and Botswana Football Association (BFA) have signed another two-year contract. The long-awaited Africa Junior Chess Championships start tomorrow at the President Hotel in Gaborone. The tournament starts at 3pm. The period between 1995 and 1999 saw the emergence of the dream team. The team was made of players such as Diphetogo Selolwane, Seabo Gabanakgosi and Mokaedi Barnes Maplanka among others. Local clubs tripped over themselves in a bid to sign up these players. Maplanka went to Mochudi Centre Chiefs, Selolwane to Gaborone United, Gabanakgosi to Township Rollers and Agisanyang Mosimanegape to Notwane. Besides this crop of players, there followed the group of Shimane Ntshweu, Mompati Banda, Edwin Disang and Oteng Moalosi.
